Collection: Open Shelving

For lovers of timeless design, we have created retro open shelving units – inspired by mid-20th-century design, with slender lines, subtle details and the warmth of natural wood. They are for anyone who wants to bring a touch of nostalgia to their home in a modern, elegant way. A shelving unit like this not only organises the space – it is a decorative piece in its own right.

Our collection includes open shelving units in different sizes and shelf layouts – from slim designs ideal for displaying books and decorations to larger, spacious units that become the centrepiece of the living room. The open form creates light arrangements that never overwhelm the room.

An open shelving unit works beautifully as a home library in the living room, as a display for porcelain or glass in the dining room, and in the bedroom, where it can become a place for favourite objects, plants and keepsakes. It is a versatile solution that gives you complete freedom in styling.

At Pastform we believe every detail matters. That is why we design our open shelving units to combine a simple form with a refined finish. Harmonious proportions, soft edges and the natural grain of the wood give each unit its own unique character. These pieces highlight the beauty of the objects you place on them – they don’t dominate, they bring out what makes them special.

At Pastform we believe beauty lies in authenticity. That is why our open shelving units are made only from FSC®-certified solid wood from sustainable sources. Each piece is the result of skilled craftsmanship and care for the environment. We deliberately avoid chipboard and MDF, choosing durability and the natural character of the material. The result is a sturdy, long-lasting piece that ages beautifully with your home.

An open shelving unit is more than storage. It is the backdrop for your favourite books, ceramics and decorations – and for the memories and passions you want to show. Retro open shelving brings the spirit of past decades into your home, while modern designs add lightness and elegance. Each one helps you create a cohesive, harmonious and unique interior – exactly the kind of space where you feel at home.
