A bed is the centre of calm in your home. It doesn't demand attention with its form, yet it quietly sets the rhythm of the whole bedroom. This is where the day ends and the morning begins — in silence, soft light and the closeness of natural materials. If you dream of a bedroom that feels cosy and draws on the best of 1950s and 60s design, a wooden retro bed is the perfect choice. Beautiful wood grain, rounded edges and slender turned legs create a warm, harmonious atmosphere that invites rest.

The bedroom is a place where the quality of materials directly affects comfort and well-being. In our family workshop, Pastform Furniture, we use only natural materials. Every vintage oak bed we design is exceptionally sturdy and built for everyday use. Oak is a noble wood that ages beautifully, and its warm tone brings a sense of calm to the bedroom. Finished with eco-friendly hardwax oils or matt lacquers, the wood can breathe and is completely safe for your health.

Choose a mid-century modern bed and you get a piece that is stable yet visually light. The frame stands on tapered legs, which makes cleaning easy (a robot vacuum fits underneath without any trouble) and makes even smaller bedrooms feel more spacious.

The perfect bed deserves the right setting. For a cohesive look, pair it with matching furniture in the same finish. Wooden bedside tables are a must, with room for small essentials, a book or a soft lamp.

Our range includes flagship designs such as the hugely popular AURA retro bed, loved for its minimalist yet warm form. All our bed frames come in standard mattress sizes: 140x200, 160x200 and 180x200 cm, so you can choose the one that suits your room perfectly.

We know every home is different, which is why we offer wide customization options. Choose from 11 signature wood finishes (such as Whisky, Rum, Cognac or classic natural oak). Before you decide, we recommend ordering our free colour sample kit. That way you can see how each shade looks in the light of your own bedroom. Choose a unique wooden retro bed from Pastform and create a space where every morning starts with a smile.
